The Doberman ResQ Project

(3/31/08) Missy: A couple, along with their ten year old greyhound, were looking at the animal shelter for a Doberman companion. There were none in the shelter but one of the workers knew of Angie and DobermanResQ here in San Diego and suggested they give her a call. After talking about our available Dobermans, the decided they'd look at Missy even though she wasn't their first choice. It couldn't have gone any better. The greyhound liked Missy and she wasn't too rough with him. The couple fell in love with Missy and Missy was Ms. Perfect on the leash and around everyone. We're sure this is a forever match meant to be. Here are a couple of photos of Missy going home.

(1/15/08) Missy: A 2 year old black & tan female with non-standing cropped ears and a docked tail. Best as an only dog (dominant and pushy with other dogs - she was briefly adopted and returned because she picked on her adoptive brother dog), loves to run and go to the dog park, crate trained. Her owners do not have the time for her. She was adopted from the shelter, very much a puppy. A bit timid of men but otherwise good with people. She'd loved to be someone's mush-puppy.
