The Doberman ResQ Project

(6/12/09) Mac: A family who recently relocated from back east to Riverside had a Mastiff and recently lost their Doberman to old age. Their Mastiff had been depressed, missing his old friend and the husband really wanted another loving Doberman. Looks didn't matter but personality and a loving nature did. When they saw Mac on the website they thought he might be a great fit. The logistics were tough as Doberman rescue had to "adopt" Mac from Coronado (they only would release him to a bonafided rescue) and Doberman Rescue would then readopt Mac to his new family. Thanks to some great Doberman Rescue volunteers who drove out to Coronado and met Mac and his new family, Mac has a new family, new brother and a great future.

(6/8/09): Mac: An approximately 6 year old black & tan male with natural ears and tail. This boy is very sweet, appears healthy and is gentle. He was picked up as a stray and is looking for the right family to love. He's at Coronado's animal shelter: 619 522-7371.
