Doberman ResQ ADOPTED - Lucy

Red & Rust female

(4/2/09) Lucy: (From Lucy's foster mom Maggie:) Lucy went to her forever home yesterday. She's being loved and cared for by a wonderful family with two young boys, the older of whom is four years old, the younger one two years old. She's already been for a walk and to the dog park this morning, where she was off leash for a while and stuck like glue to her new dad (we're not surprised - she was just like that when she was here with us). She is delighting her new family with her understanding of commands and her ability to just settle in. She's demonstrated that she's housebroken (yeah!), that she can fetch, and that she will watch over "her" two young boys very attentively. This family has waited a long time for their first dog. Lucy is perfect for them, and they are perfect for her.

Original Posting:

(03/26/09) Lucy: A 2 year old red & rust female saved from the Riverside Shelter by Maggie. She has natural ears and a docked tail. Seems very curious and calm. Very good with other dogs. Social and loves to play. We'll have more information soon.
